If you have modified your Iphone 3GS and then done a Reset All, from the Settings menu, you may be shocked to find that the phone will not come back up to a working state. After the initial shock, you need to place your Iphone in Recovery Mode. This is done by Holding both the POWER and HOME button for 10 seconds, and then only releasing the POWER button, you will then see the Itunes Icon on the Iphone screen with the USB lead pointing at it. Connect the Iphone to your PC,Laptop or Mac, your machine will install the recovery mode driver, and then choose the Restore option within Itunes.
